Legacy Premiere 2010 Pre-Recital Events

Legacy Premiere 2010 recital is going to flow a little differently than Cathy’s Dance Studio recitals. We are not going to stop the music in between dances for scene changes. We would like for as many of the students to attend the Nolensville Elementary rehearsal on May 22 from 9 until noon . This will give the students a better idea of what to expect on Friday , May 28 at our first rehearsal at TPAC.

Let’s walk through our PRE-RECITAL events and the rules in date order:

********PROFESSIONAL GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL RECITAL PICTURES

DATE: WEEK OF MAY 17 ON YOUR REGULAR CLASS DAY.

TIME: PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS AND BE PREPARED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES EARLY AND STAY 30 MINUTES LATER THAN YOUR NORMAL CLASS TIMES.

LOCATION: LEGACY DANCE STUDIO

Please come with your hair and makeup ready for pictures. We will be using part of the lobby and sewing room for our dressing rooms. You will have group and individual pictures made in all of your recital costumes. We will post a detailed time schedule soon.

Yates Photography will be our photographers. Please be prepared to order pictures on your picture day and the pictures will be back the week of recital.

**********RECITAL REHEARSAL AT NOLENSVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

DATE AND TIME: SATURDAY, MAY 22 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

LOCATION: NOLENSVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GYMNASIUM

ATTIRE: BLACK DANCE LEOTARD WITH TIGHTS OR SHORTS, BLACK DANCE SHORTS OR CAPRI DANCE PANTS AND BLACK DANCE TOP. NO T-SHIRT OR SWEATSHIRTS PLEASE. LET’S TRY TO CREATE A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE WHILE WE ARE DANCING IN PUBLIC AT ALL TIMES.

RULES:
1.PLEASE DO NOT BRING GLITTER OF ANY TYPE INTO THE GYMNASIUM.

2.STUDENTS AND A GUARDIAN ONLY WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE GYMNASIUM DUE TO LIMITED SEATING AREAS.

3.STUDENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO LISTEN AND BE QUIET AT ALL TIMES DURING THIS REHEARSAL.

4.STUDENTS THAT TALK OR SHOW ANY DISREPECT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE REHEARSAL.

5.THE DANCES WILL MOVE QUICKLY. STUDENTS SHOULD BE WATCHING THE DANCES AT ALL TIME AND BE LINED UP AND PREPARED TO DANCE 5 NUMBERS BEFORE THEIR DANCE.
